The Opening

Well we were all to busy to take photos of the opening as we were in the moment, so I haven't got many images for you.... so thanks to Sherry Roberts for her images that she was taking for Black magazine and to Josh Bell for his ones as well ....the night was packed with all sorts of wonderful people and the museum was hot hot hot, almost on fire!!!!.....the Pasifik sure came to visit us that night.....and just look at thoses ataahua wahine..........not just pretty faces....Peter Gordon and his team from Providores was amazing..again, Tohu wine...yum yum...we can't thank them enough as well as Sarah-Janes' voleenter team......and all the staff at CUMAA as everyone put in so much... and to Creative New Zealand for helping getting the artists to the opening so they could sparkle and actually meet the poeple from here, we the living dynamic make the taonga from the collections shine and everything was alive
