Well wish I had more pictures of this night...me thinks people were enjoying themselves and/or working to much on this night, but I have a special shout out to Aroha Rangi, as without her , the night wouldn't of happend, as Amiria and I were so comitted to the nuts and bolts of the opening and installation ....7 days later!!!!!!!! We had a packed house, a mixture of London art scene, NZ govt officials...gotta thank the High Commission to as they koha some wine and the space...the Penthouse of New Zealand House and the NZ London based community, artists, journalists, muso's..people who we hope would spread the word... Ngati Ranana who helped us make 120 lolly leis and gave us the use of their club rooms to work in on the night, as well as their presence on the night.....Beats of Polynesia who provided some yum yum, drum drum fun in the foyer and to Jerome and Ben who played Taonga Puoro in the welcoming area...where everybody got Lei'd......The Providores Restaurant did the catering...AWESOME kai, Peter Grodon and his crew...... they are amazing people, generous and had our guests gushing about the food.. and last but not least Tohu wines who provided many bottles of fabulous wine for the night.........anyways for all the tagata in Aotearoa..here's a glimpse...check the view
