The CUMAA Collections

CUMAA houses the second largest Oceanic collections in the UK, and they were responsible for Pasifika Styles happening as we wanted to reconnect the artists with the taonga and show how creativity in Aotearoa today is living and dynamic and though hundreds of years may have passed the bond is there, the spirit...they just needed some visitors to warm them up from their cold slumber. Wonu was amazing working with the all the artists who wanted to meet the taonga, she made sure nobody missed out..a big job considering we were installing at the same time.
